Daily DeviationYou have to check out Red Stranger, and if not for anything else, just for the great focus. This makes you worship a good lens and the art of focusing... But as always there's more to it, might want to see it for yourself. This shot is brought to you by ~RYAN99 (Suggested by *wb-skinner and Featured by `suzi9mm)

What an expertly taken macro. Was the moth (?) there for long before you took the photo?

Love the natural beauty in this mixed with the colours. Makes it perfect! :)

There were a few of them flying around at the time but this was the only friendly one that sat still for a few seconds and let me get close.

that's pretty sweet, I think I should get some extension tubes. I used to have a macro lens, but it was pretty slow. I asked because your picture is a lot sharper than those pics taken with those consumer lenses that have a "macro" focusing capability.

I think only the primes are real macro - the macro zooms just focus a little closer than usual. If you have the money id get a 100mm though, since it's difficult to work at this close distance... with the other, 31mm tube attached it end up being about 1cm from the subject.
